NOTE: Please make sure that Hopedot VOS is installed in (Copied to) the root directory of the partition.(X:/HopedotVOS/...) before doing the following steps:
1. Restart your PC and reload Hopedot VOS (it works sometimes);
2. Add Hopedot VOS to your anti-virus or firewall white/trust list;
3. Stop the security software temporarily;
4. Delete the file VOScore.sys, it is located at C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS by default.
5. For Windows Vista and 7 users, make sure you have administrator rights when launch Hopedot VOS; or you could right click the StartVOS.exe, and then click "Run as administrator";
6. For Windows Vista and 7 users, make sure you disable the User Account Control (UAC)
7. Reinstall and launch VOS;
If you still have problems after doing the above, please copy Hopedot VOS to another PC and launch it.
In some rare conditions, it also happens that Hopedot VOS may work on another PC but fails on your PC due to computer hardware or configuration difference.
Note: If you see the popup of the security software when launching Hopedot, please allow/trust it to continue. If you neglect it, most of the security software will block it by default. This may cause the same error.

About your security warning, that is because your software does not identify the files/services of Hopedot VOS, so it shows you a warning popup. You can solve it simply by adding Hopedot VOS to the trust/white list. Of course, you could block it and discontinue if you do not want to run Hopedot VOS anymore :)
One advantage of Hopedot VOS is that even if Hopedot VOS gets a virus, it will not affect your host computer because Hopedot VOS is independent of system drive, so it will not affect the host computer.
We also want to clarify that Hopedot VOS as a virtual system, it does not support installing and running anti-virus program on it very well. So we suggest you to use a host computer which has an anti-virus program to run Hopedot VOS, or just install some small protection programs on it such as ClamWinPortable、a-squared Emergency USB Stick to protect VOS.
First, you could exit Hopedot VOS.
Then copy all the folder of "HopedotVOS" to a safe place is OK.
You could copy from computer hard disk to USB device or from USB devide to computer hard disk.
(Note: The folder of "HopedotyVOS" need to be copied to a root directory of the partition. For example: X:/HopedotVOS/...)
Then when you want to run the bakcup version, just go to the "HopedotVOS" foler and run the "HopedotVOS.exe" file is OK.
Note: when you copy the "HopedotVOS" folder, all the programs and data files in VOS virtual system will also copied for backup together.
